Pesto making is an old family tradition.

As a mother of Italian ancestry, I started making pesto at home more than 20 years ago as a hobby because I was curious to learn more about this iconic flavor. Much has changed since then, but to this day I work to capture the original tastes from my memories of Italy, using only the best ingredients. As I have experimented with more ingredients and techniques over the years, a group of pesto lovers has grown around me.

At first, I focused on my small family, then my circle of friends, and finally acquaintances of acquaintances. Pesto-making started out as a hobby, but over the years it has matured into a real passion. I began to experiment more bravely with flavors, and now not only lovers of Italian gastronomy, but also friends of my children constantly request my pesto. My refrigerator is full of pesto variants almost year round.

I have spent my entire professional career in the event business and because of the coronavirus we experienced unprecedented changes. With more free time I dedicated my energies to pesto perfection. Listening to my inner voice and the advice of family and friends, I understood that the time had come for long cherished recipes to be shared with the rest of the world.

Freshly chopped, oiled, frozen. We offer a classic version, as well as garlic-free, vegan and even an exciting truffle flavour.

Creating every product and new flavor gives me the same excitement as when I first made it for my family, watching their faces as they experienced my creations.

I didn’t leave my final product to chance. I asked chef Gábor Galgóczi (Tanti, La Perle Noir) to help me find the perfect proportions; so your success in the kitchen is almost certainly guaranteed!

Another amazing journey has begun, where I can share this tradition of Italian cuisine with all of you while conveying an experience the moment you taste the essence of Italian cuisine. That’s how Pesto Guseo was born.
